Root to Rise: Sacred Medicine Retreat for Women with Chronic Pain

This retreat is a sanctuary designed by women, for women—a space where those living with chronic pain can come together in safety, support, and sisterhood. Guided by two experienced facilitators, we will journey with sacred medicine in a way that honors both the profound challenges and the deep potential for growth that can arise.

Our focus is on creating a nurturing, grounded environment where you are held through every step of the process. Safety and trust are at the heart of our work: we move slowly, intentionally, and with great care, ensuring that each participant feels supported as she explores difficult emotions and sensations, as well as new possibilities for healing.

What sets this retreat apart is the integration of rigorous, data-driven expertise with compassionate, heart-centered guidance. As a researcher and clinician with a PhD in medical research, Dr Julia brings evidence-based knowledge about psychedelics and chronic pain into the space. Together with her co-guide Josie, whose experience spans years of therapeutic facilitation, they offer a retreat that is both deeply grounded and profoundly transformative.

This is more than a retreat—it is an invitation to step into a circle of women who understand the reality of pain, who honor each other’s journeys, and who are committed to growth, healing, and connection.

If you feel called, email josie@vikaracenter.com for details and to hold your spot — space is intentionally kept small.
